Investment Banking Bootcamp
Preparing Rice undergraduates to navigate the investment banking recruiting process.
The program
In the past three years, we have placed 116 students into top investment banking and other high-finance internships in a variety of cities. The program spans Summer 2026 and nine weeks of Fall 2026, covering networking, behavioral fundamentals, and technical interview preparation, with the goal of preparing students to interview and sign an offer following the program.

How it runs.

Sessions
Students complete weekly homework covering networking and behavioral preparation alongside the week's technical material, checked through bi-weekly mock interview quizzes. In the second week of fall programming, every student sits a mock interview test to confirm they prepared effectively over the summer.

Office Visits
Students visit banks in Houston to network with bankers and learn more about the firms.
Mentorship
We aim to pair every successful student with two mentors.
Alongside the weekly lecture-style and workshop sessions in the fall, we aim to pair successful students with an upperclassman mentor who has recruited successfully, along with an alumni mentor currently working in the industry.
